HAOT is the marketplace for showing up. The social platform built for friendship, not romance. You tell the app what kind of plans you would actually attend. HAOT matches you with a small group at a real venue on a real night. Five rules make this not a dating app, by design. Launching worldwide in 2026.
HAOT is the social platform built for friendship, not romance. Where other apps optimize for attention, HAOT optimizes for attendance. You tell the app what kind of plans you would actually show up for: a late literature night at a bookshop, a sunrise hike, an underground house set on a Friday, an afternoon at a museum that's better with company. Anyone can host. HAOT matches you with a small group at a real venue on a real night. After the event, you tap who you would meet again. Mutual yes opens a chat. That's the only way to message anyone here. Five architectural rules make HAOT not a dating app: no DMs to strangers, no profiles to swipe, no solo plans, no one-sided matches, no DM spam. Launching worldwide in 2026.
Logos, marks, photos.
Give the mark room to breathe. Keep at least the height of the O around it on every side. Don't recolor it, don't apply effects, and don't combine it with other logos. For the full brand system, email press@haot.app.
Edd Clandestino.
Edd Clandestino is the founder and CEO of HAOT.
He grew up in Puerto Rico and studied entrepreneurship with a minor in event production and marketing at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, graduating in 2020. The idea behind HAOT started in college: watching friends skip the indie bands, gallery nights, and small concerts they wanted to attend because nobody's schedules lined up. The plans were there. The people to go with weren't.
He spent the years after graduation inside the music industry, working with labels in Latin urban, house, and techno, and touring with DJs and artists. Weeks in cities he didn't know turned hotel lobbies into the default social option, which made the same problem visible everywhere he went. HAOT is the company built around that pattern.
Edd is separately the founder and CEO of Clandestino Entertainment Group, which runs Clandestino Music (Latin urban label), Dela Groove (house and Afro house label), and Clandestino Ventures (Musavox, Musyn, Probatio). HAOT and CEG are operated and capitalized independently.
